Minutes of the Annual General Meeting of the Parish Council held on Tuesday 10th May 2022 which commenced at 6:36pm in St. Peters Church, South Somercotes

AGM 01-05/22 Vice-Chairman’s Welcome
The Chairman opened the meeting and welcomed Councillors and to the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
AGM 02-05/22 Apologies & Acceptance for Absence
District Cllr Mr Paul Rickett.
The Chairman, Cllr Mr Poulter then stepped down.
AGM 03-05/22 Election of Chairman of the Parish Council
Cllr Mr Poulter was nominated to be re-elected as Chairman. It was then proposed by Cllr Mrs Jackson, seconded by Cllr Mrs Day and resolved that Cllr Mr Poulter be re-elected as Chairman to the Parish Council. Cllr Mr Poulter agreed to serve as Chairman.
The newly elected Chairman Cllr Mr Poulter then took the Chair.
AGM 04-05/22 Election of Vice Chairman of the Parish Council
It was proposed by Cllr Mrs Poulter that Cllr Mrs Day be elected as Vice-Chair, this was seconded by Cllr Mrs Benton and Resolved that Cllr Mrs Day be appointed as Vice-Chair. Cllr Mrs Day agreed to serve as Vice-Chair.
AGM 05-05/22 Signing of Acceptance of Office
The Chairman and Vice-Chair signed their new Acceptance of Office. All other Acceptance of Office were up to date with no further changes to the Pecuniary Interests. The local Elections for Parish Councils will be held in May 2023.
AGM 06-05/22 Review of Parish Council Rules & Regulations
The Parish Council’s Standing Orders and Financial Regulations will be circulated to Parish Councillors.
AGM 07-05/22 Review of Parish Council Assets
The Asset List has been reviewed and will be circulated to Parish Councillors. No changes have been made to the Asset List in the last year.
AGM 08-05/22 Donation Requests
No requests have been made to the Parish Council.
AGM 09-05/22 Close of the AGM
The next AGM will be held in May 2023. There being no further business for the Annual General Meeting, the meeting closed at 6.45pm.
