Item 0621/17 Chairman’s Welcome
The Chairman opened the meeting at 6.40pm and welcomed everyone to the monthly meeting.

Item 0621/19 Apologies & Acceptance for Absence
District Cllr Mr Paul Rickett.
Item 0621/20 Police Matters
No members of the Local Neighbourhood Policing Team were in attendance. No matters were raised.
Item 0621/21 District & County Councillor Updates
District & County Cllr Mr McNally reported on: Green Homes Grants – Available for Foam Installation this is based on Energy Ratings, a survey is around £60.00. £10k available to Homeowners, £5k for Landlords. ELDC Move to Horncastle – Looking to complete in 2022. Market Trader Incentive – Free Rent in July 2021.

None.
Item 0621/23 To Resolve as Minutes the record of the meeting held on 11th May 2021
It was proposed by Cllr Mrs Poulter, seconded by Cllr Mrs Benton, and resolved that the Minutes of the meeting held on the 11th May 2021 were a true record. The Chairman duly signed and dated the Minutes as a true record.
Item 0621/24 Parish Councillor Vacancies
The Clerk advised that the application received had been withdrawn from Miss R Truman.
Mrs Jackson was present to support her application. The Parish Council considered the application made, Resolved unanimously to appoint Mrs Jackson as Parish Councillor and welcomed Mrs Jackson to the Parish Council.

The Chairman had no specific matters to report under this Item.
Item 0621/26 Clerks Report
No specific matters to raise under this Item.
Item 0621/27 Parish Councillor Reports
Cllr Mrs Day reported that the Book Stall collection amount was £10.41 which was handed to the Clerk.
Cllr Mrs Poulter reported on the quote received to connect a Defibrillator within the Telephone Kiosk. Upon inspection, it was advised that the power has been completely disconnected from the Kiosk. BT confirmed the instructions from Northern Power Grid that would be needed to connect the defibrillator. They advised that as connection is to emergency medical equipment, power would be supplied. A second quote is being obtained along with costs of the equipment and accessories needed. Confirmation that the Kiosk is now the property of the Parish Council has been received.
Item 0621/28 Financial Matters
June 2021 Expenditure: No expenditure to be approved.
Cllr Mr McNally was still awaiting confirmation that the grant funding will be paid. The Chairman asked if the Parish Council were the only ones waiting on the funding to be approved. Cllr Mr McNally confirmed that this was not the case and there were other Parish Councils waiting too.
Item 0621/29 Planning Matters
None.
Item 0621/30 Highway/Lighting/Footpath Matters
Cllr Mr McNally updated Cllr Mrs Day on the section of path adjoining the property along East Row.
Item 0621/31 Jubilee Field & St. Peters Churchyard
Correspondence relating to the grass-cutting services had been received advising that the cost of the cutting the grass at the Church would need to be increased as the contractor is currently working at a loss. The Parish Council considered the new amount of £120 per cut and Resolved unanimously to accept the new cost. It was asked that the grass be cut a.s.a.p. A request will be made.

An entry to the Communication will be made to confirm the date, time and location of the next meeting.
Item 0621/33 Next Meeting – Tuesday 6th July 2021
The next monthly Parish Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday 6th July 2021, commencing at 6:30pm.
The meetings will be held on a Face-to-Face basis at St. Peters Church, Louth Rd. Face Coverings must still be worn and Social Distancing adhered too.
With there being no further business, the Chairman closed the meeting at 7pm.
