NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
Members are summoned to attend the next meeting of South Somercotes Parish Council is to be held on Monday 4 March 2024 at 6.00 pm in St Peter’s Church, Louth Road, South Somercotes.
AGENDA
Members of the public are invited and welcome to attend the whole meeting, except for items where their presence is prejudicial to the public interest, and are permitted to make representations to the Council, answer questions and give evidence (up to 3 mins per person/subject) in respect of any item of public business listed on the agenda during the public session, which is normally 15 minutes before the start of the meeting. In this time brief reports of the Police and elected Members of Lincolnshire County Council and East Lindsey District Council will be included. The meeting may only consider the business on the agenda; the Agenda and Minutes for the Parish Council Meetings are available on the Parish Notice Board, or from the Clerk, or on the website, together with the schedule of future dates.

2) Public forum when members of the public may raise items relevant to the meeting or the parish
3) Apologies for absence received and approve
4) Declarations of Interest: To receive declarations of interest under the Localism Act 2011 – being any pecuniary or non-pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on Members’ Register of Interests.
5) AGAR Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR) 2022/23
a) To receive the report of the internal auditor and note the parish Clerk & Responsible Finance Officer (RFO’s) responses (where applicable).
b) To receive the Balance Sheet for the year ended 31 March 2023, to be signed by the Chairman and the Responsible Finance Officer (RFO).
c) To approve the Annual Governance Statement (Section 1 of the Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR)) for financial year 2022/23 and authorise signing by the Chairman and Parish Clerk.
d) To approve the Accounting Statements (Section 2 of the AGAR) for financial year 2022/23 and authorise signing by the Chairman and Responsible Finance Officer.
6) To adopt Standing Orders/Financial Regulations/Code of Conduct/Complaints Policy/Equal Opportunities Policy
7) To approve as a correct record the notes of the meeting held on 19 February 2024
8) Financial matters: approve expenditure
a) Bank balances on bank statements 29 February 2024
b) Expenses: noticeboard, filing cabinet, concave mirror and post, pir solar lights for churchyard
c) Bank Account and online banking update
